There are a number of reasons for this of course.  As the town becomes more vibrant with new restaurants, services, activities, and neighborhoods, demand for in-town living increases.  For some, the costs, maintenance and seclusion of owning the ideal - a cabin in the woods - is simply too much, particularly when 97 percent of Jackson Hole is comprised of public lands and therefore accessible without owning your own land.
