Spring is in the air

This is the time of year when everything seems possible. The days are warming and the snow is retreating up the hillsides.  The elk have moved off the refuge into the high country.  Thoughts have moved away from skiing to fishing and hiking.  The wildflowers should soon be out.

This spring, other change is in the air in town.  The draft of the Comprehensive Plan was recently released portending an end to the long community debate about the future growth of the valley.  With building nodes are now defined, development will increasingly focus on the heart of the community, the Town of Jackson and it’s small downtown center.  Within this core, our small North Cache area (NoBro), may become a primary area of interest as it’s location and views are rediscovered, and the neighborhood personality and design aesthetic continue to emerge.  The potential sale of much of the nearby Bridger-Teton National Forest property and rebuilding of the campus on the remaining land would continue the rapid evolution of the district.
